Started operations on the 1st floor of Wisma Wong Wo Lo, Jalan Tun Mustapha
Objective
To establish the Federal Territory of Labuan as a sustainable island city
To ensure all types of development which are carried out adhere to established policies and current legal requirements
To create a harmonious environment as a great place to live, work and play
To coordinate planning and development requirements through the use of relevant guidelines and standards
To establish a system for the compilation and coordination of computerized planning information
To ensure administration of the department is implemented efficiently in accordance with management requirements
Function
To be responsible for physical planning matters including redevelopment planning, new settlements and development regulation.
To submit proposals for development projects under the Malaysia Plan.
To submit proposals for development projects under the Malaysia Plan.
To process application for layout & landscape plan approval, Building Plan, Single House, Renovation Plan and Village House.
To process Applications for Boundary/ Division Alteration and Change in Category of Land Use.
To process reviews for Application for Business License and land application.
To provide services and coordinate LC landscape projects for consultants and developers.
To provide planning and development advisory services to Government agency departments in Labuan as well as individuals other than the private sector.
Client Charter
To provide customer-friendly service to all customers
To ensure all customer inquiries are entertained within a waiting period of less than 20 minutes
To process COMPLETED application for Planning Permission, Building Plan (new/amended) and Boundary / Division Breaking Plan application through the One Stop Centre Unit within four (4) months
To provide technical reviews for Planning Permission applications, Building Plans (new/amended) and Boundary/Division Alteration Plans received from the One Stop Centre Unit within twenty one (21) days
To make site visits and technical reviews for planning inquiry applications and Certificate of Occupancy within fourteen (14) days
To investigate all public complaints related to planning within three (3) days and take immediate follow-up action (if necessary)
To review the suitability position of the business premises amendment within three (3) days through the Pre-Listing System
To ensure that all planning studies are prepared within the stipulated period
